Born September 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Magee is a graduate of Allentown College, now DeSales University (BA 1969), Eastern Kentucky University (MA 1971) and Northern Kentucky University (JD 1974). He is admitted to practice before the Courts of Ohio (1974) as well as Kentucky (1984), the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio (1974), the Northern District of Ohio (1981), the Western District of Kentucky (1986), the Eastern District of Kentucky (1990) and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals (1984). He is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio and Kentucky Bar Associations.

Mr. Magee is a prior General Counsel to Cambridge Savings and Loan Association (1978-1984); Associate General Counsel-Litigation of the Farm Credit Bank of Louisville, Kentucky (1984-1986) and National Legal Counsel to The Ancient Order of Hibernians in America, Inc. (2004-2008). He has also been an adjunct professor of law at Salmon P. Chase College of Law (1976-78, 1990) teaching courses in Modern Real Estate Finance and Modern Real Estate Transactions. He is the co-editor of Ohio Real Property Law & Practice (Michie Co. 4th ed 1986) and the author of Ohio's New Estate: Tenancy by Entireties, 2 Northern Kentucky State Law Forum 69, 1974 and Land Patents: A Misconception, 58 Ohio State Bar Association Report 34, 1975. He is a former faculty member of the North Central Bankruptcy Law Institute of Capital University Law Center (1985-1989) and lectures frequently on real estate and bankruptcy law and litigation matters. He is also a co-owner of BRB Trust Title Agency, LLC dba Cosmopolitan Title Agency with offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Lexington, Kentucky.
