Welcome Advent: Today, with the First Sunday of Advent, we begin a new liturgical year. While these days of December are always busy times for all of us, lets make it a priority to prepare for the Lords coming.
Dedication of the Christmas Crche: I invite you to come to the dedication of the Christmas crche in downtown Cheviot this Sunday evening, November 28th at 6:30 p.m. It is located in the front yard of the Auto Zone store at the corner of Harrison & Washington Ave. This Nativity display is a wonderful reminder to our local community of the true meaning of Christmas and we are grateful to all who make it possible.
Receiving Gods Forgiveness: On Tuesday evening November 30th, our second graders from the school and the PSR program will celebrate their First Reconciliation. Please keep these children in your prayers as they are blessed with Gods forgiveness and love in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Feast of the Immaculate Conception: Wednesday, December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Marya holy day of obligation. It is under this title that Mary is the patroness of the United States. Masses for the Holy day will be celebrated on Tuesday evening, December 7th at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 8th at 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 12:00 noon.
