Nestled in the hills of Warren county you will find Greentree Golf Club, a fun and challenging nine hole golf course.
Conveniently located less than 5 minutes off I-75 at the Monroe (Ohio 63) exit, the course is about 1 mile west of Shaker Run Golf Course on Greentree Road.
Greentree Golf Club was built in 1999, and was designed by Jodi Kinney, who is one of 6 female golf architects in the United States. She learned the profession working as the protg for Michael Hurdzan, who designed Blue Ash, Lassing Pointe, The Vineyards, and 100's of other courses across the USA. There's plenty of room for future expansion, as the course is built on a piece of property encompassing over 300 acres.
The championship style course has four sets of tees, ranging from 2501 yards to a challenging 3403 yards. Two par 5's, two par 3's, and 5 par 4's. The fairways are blue grass and the greens are bent grass that roll nice and true. A great learning course for beginners, and a great practicing course for low handicappers.
The course is moderately hilly but easy to walk. It's nice and quiet - with no roads or houses. Go around twice for 18 holes, or just a quick nine. If you enjoy seeing deer while you play, there is a good chance you will see some.
The Club House Manager is Joe McNeil, and the General Manager/Superintendent is Fred Likes.
