Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I have decided at the ripe old age of 50 that I am not a fan of change! There I said itI said it out loud! The older I get the more I appreciate stability and the comfort that it brings to my soul! If certain things fall apart as they have a tendency to do, at least I pray there will always be other certain things that will always remain quite the same.

Wednesday - Community Meal & Worship: All are invited to a meal in the Lounge at 5:45 p.m. followed by age appropriate small group Bible studies at
6:15 p.m.. Community worship will begin in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. Invite your family, neighbors, and friends for these fellowship and worship opportunities! No Meal or Bible Studies on November 24.
Crossway Bible Study: Join us in the lounge at 6:00 p.m. every Wednesday for our two year journey through the bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Dartball: Men, join us Thursday, November4 at 7:00p.m. for dartball at Grove City.
Friday Pancake Breakfast: All 7th - 12th grade youth and their friends are invited to enjoy pancakes made to order in the Fellowship Hall at 7:00 a.m. each Friday.
Don't forget to place your order for your pumpkin pies the deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 17 Please consider supporting our youth as they raise funds to attend the National Gathering in 2012. Needing Fellowship Angels: We are in need of "angels" to assist in setting up beverages and snacks prior to the early service ending and cleaning up by the end of the late services for November 21 and December 19 and January 2
Sunday School Christmas Project
Last year the Sunday School children filled 266 gift bags for children serviced by Lutheran Social Services. Wed LOVE to break that record! Please donate the following items: candy canes, individually wrapped candy, card games, small toys, socks, mittens & gloves, hats, scarves, small boxes of crayons, small packs of tissues, chap stick, soap, sample size shampoo, sample size toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, socks, toiletries, fruit snacks, granola bars, or raisins.
Collection will take place through Sunday, December 12.
Substitute Teachers Needed: Would you like to help with Sunday School, but don't really have the time every week? We are in need of a few people to occasionally sub in our classrooms. If you can help please contact Carole Ennis.
Food Drive
The Children's Center is hosting a food drive to benefit the Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry to Teach the Children the benefits of helping others. Please drop canned and boxed food items in the labeled bin in the Gathering Place through November 28.
