Local author Susan Sachs Levine and illustrator Erin McCauley Burchwell will discuss their new book Packard Takes Flight on Saturday, December 4th at 2:00. In this beautifully illustrated picture book Packard, a peregrine falcon chick, falls from his nest atop the Rhodes Tower in downtown Columbus. In his quest to return home, he discovers Franklin Park Conservatory, the North Market, the Center of Science and Industry and many other Columbus institutions and landmarks. Autographing will follow the presentation and conclude at 4:00. Packard Takes Flight will make a great gift for readers of all ages with any connection to Columbus.
