Death has been called many things: "A part of life" - "The great equalizer" - "The Big Sleep" and many others. No matter what it is called, all of us face it - family, friends and, someday, ourselves. What are decisions we need to make while we are still alive? What about a hot-button issue like abortion? What happens when the news from the doctor is not good? What happens when the news comes and we weren't ready? All these questions come to us at sometime or another. During this 3 message series, we'll take a biblical look at how we can face the issues with faith and grace and offer some hope for the journey of life. During the series, we will have a special guest Home Health Care Hospice to share about their work in helping the terminally ill and their families. We hope you can join us.

Trying to make plans for the future? Need some good input and direction? The Bible reminds us that "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty." (PROVERBS 21:5) Because we want to help everyone have a good life, Jon Riegle (Riegle Financial Services, L.L.C.) will be leading a Financial Planning Seminar at the church on Tuesday, 11/30/10. The topics to be covered include Wills/Estates, Insurance Needs and Retirement Strategies, with other needs addressed if mentioned.
A seminar of this type could cost hundreds of dollars, but we are offering this at no cost to anyone who would like to attend. Jon is not seeking new clients as a result of this seminar. It is being offered as a gift to the people of our community by Sawmill Baptist Church.

In this series, we will look at how our lives can be changed for the better (and forever) because of what happened 2000 years ago a few thousand miles from here. What does the birth of Jesus mean for everyone? How can it change our lives in the 21st century? What is REALLY real about it? We hope you'll be our guest as we discover the real changes that come to life because Jesus came to earth.
