Dr. John Buchan began practicing podiatry in Columbus in 1948. His first office was in the Hartman Theatre Building, which is now only a downtown memory. His two oldest sons joined him, Drs. Jack in 1978 and Dr. David in 1982, to continue to provide the highest level of foot and ankle care in a professional and caring environment to the residents of Central Ohio. This approach has allowed the practice to grow rapidly over the years.
Dr. John has now retired but Drs. Jack and David continue the tradition of caring. Both doctors are members of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and are Board Certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Each doctor has special interests in podiatric medicine and surgery that allows for in-depth experience and expertise.
Drs. Jack and David frequently teach at various residency programs and have lectured at national and international professional meetings. They have authored many articles on the advances in foot and ankle care as well as appeared on television and radio programs as experts.
We are excited to announce that Dr. Randall Contento has joined the practice, July 1, 2009. Dr. Contento completed a four year residency in podiatric foot and ankle surgery. His training and expertise will allow us to offer Central Ohio residents continued excellence in foot and ankle care.
